of the repercussions that come with violating the newly enacted cyber laws designed to curb digital harassment and protect users from online abuse.
“In my routine keynote message, I usually remind our youthful people about cyberbullying and the repercussions that the cyber laws have initiated to counter the act. Let’s remain vigilant as we carry on our activities so that we don’t fall prey to the harshness of the newly enacted law,” said Hon. Munyika.
He emphasized that while the digital space has opened new avenues for expression and innovation, it must be used responsibly and respectfully to safeguard individual rights and promote positive engagement.
Hon. Munyika’s message serves as a timely reminder for Kenya’s youth to think before they post, engage, or share content online fostering a culture of accountability and respect in the country’s growing digital community.
