Some residents of Mombasa County gathered at Burhani Sports Grounds to mark World Health Day through a walk organized by the Dawoodi Bohra community. The event featured physical fitness activities alongside free health screening services, including blood sugar and blood pressure tests, aimed at promoting early detection of non-communicable diseases.
Speaking during the event, Mombasa County Chief Officer for Health, Daniel Manyala, urged residents to embrace preventive healthcare services. He also highlighted progress made in enhancing access to universal healthcare and called on the public to observe road safety.
