Malindi, Kilifi County, A brand new gospel focused recording studio, JESUS MUSIC PRODUCTION (JMP), is nearing completion in the heart of Malindi town and is set to officially launch the 2nd week of this month of July.
Currently 80% complete, the studio is in its final construction phase and already generating excitement in the coastal gospel m
usic scene.
“Artist signing has already begun,” said the CEO, who chose to remain unnamed during the interview. “We’ve started working with talents from Lamu, Malindi, Taita, Kwale, Kilifi, and Mombasa.”
Adding to the anticipation, JMP’s lead producer is a renowned name from Nairobi, known for handling major gospel music projects across Kenya. Now based in Malindi, the producer brings a wealth of experience and a national profile to the new studio.
Located strategically in central Malindi, JMP is poised to become a creative hub for emerging and established gospel artists from across the coastal region and beyond.
