This beef is really one sided – unsurprisingly not from fans or Susumila himself, it is Billy Mia who has fired shots at Susumila’s new song TAIRENI.
Billy is a radio presenter at a leading local radio station in Mombasa and hosts a breakfast show, he has continually heated a debate on whatsapp and online that Susumila never did justice to the beats, failing to meet the target of maintaining his position as the key top coastal artist in entertainment industry to the international market scene.
No other coastal presenter has made the feud list as much as Billy has publicly and bravely done and never seems to be stopping any sooner.
However when our chief editor King’ori contacted Billy Mia, he had this to say ”King’ori, i don’t hold any beef with Susumila, am only trying to play my role in the music industry, Susumila is a great artist and am only helping out, people might have misquoted me but i and Susumila we are great friends, bad publicity turns to be good publicity but with coastal entertainment stakeholders find it hatred for grudges. An example is our coastal brothers, even if an artist sneezes its news and it will be viral but with mombasa hahaa Kaput. Lets support and be proud of our own.”
We yet to hear Susumila’s response on this or its ni kama vindi ni kama ndrama.
