Reverend Lucy Natasha’s journey from her modest beginnings to becoming a prominent preacher is both remarkable and motivational. Growing up in the slums of Mathare, Nairobi, Natasha faced significant challenges, including the pressures of peer influence and the temptation of social gatherings. Despite these obstacles, she remained committed to her faith.

In a heartfelt interview with a local YouTuber, Natasha shared her pride in her roots and the transformative impact of her upbringing. She acknowledged the struggles of growing up in a single-room house and the challenges of the ghetto, including the allure of jam sessions that she attended on Sundays after church.

Natasha’s spiritual path was profoundly influenced by her family. Her mother and grandmother, both preachers, provided a foundation that strengthened her faith. Natasha spoke about how her mother’s evolving ministry and her grandmother’s pastoral work in their village inspired her. Despite the family’s deep involvement in ministry, her mother never pressured her to join the church, allowing Natasha to develop her own relationship with God.

At the age of nine, Natasha began preaching to her peers, and she experienced her first miracle during that time her stammering ceased, allowing her to communicate more effectively. By nineteen, she had embarked on full-time ministry as a traveling preacher.

In addition to her preaching, Natasha is an accomplished author, having written twelve inspirational books. Her journey from a shy child to a well known spiritual leader highlights her dedication and resilience, serving as a powerful example of overcoming adversity and finding one’s calling.
