  Alfred Ogweno is not a new name or individual to all those who reside from Mombasa County.

   Ogweno the Youth President is an aggressive person known for his endless efforts fighting for the youths  in Mombasa regardless their age but for those who demonstrate maturity.
   He has been on the front line formulating policies and help to implement programs that promote in the youth in terms of sense of creativity, self-reliance, leadership, loyalty to the Mombasa county, discipline and civic responsibility and a sense of co-operation through the exchange of ideas with recognized youth organizations in the region.

  Ogweno is one lucky youth whose limit could be the sky, he has since met president Uhuru Kenyatta in person and recognized whenever Uhuru visits Mombasa County.

 On public holidays, gatherings or any governmental programs he usually gets the first stake to represent coastal youths.
  Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko was at time impressed with Alfred Ogweno and he picked him up as his son to Nairobi, stayed with him for a couple of months at his Nairobi home where he networked and gained notable favors from dignitaries close to Mike Sonko and the president.

  This has given Ogweno an opportunity of sharing and giving back to the community through his initiative where he recently chose to celebrate his birthday with the most isolated street families at Makadara where he aims at assisting to reduce the number of those living in the streets through seeking Employment Opportunities for them, Education and other business opportunities with mission slogan –

King’ori:  How can you describe your journey?
Alfred Ogweno: Although it is not always a smooth ride for many of us youths but God is always with us because our intentions are always NEVER TO HARM ANYONE BUT UPLIFT US MANY AS WE CAN IRREGARDLESS OF THE CHALLENGES WE ALL FACE.

 Ogweno  took to the beach over the weekend and in his youth cogitate at the beach came a boiled egg vendor youth Ferdinand Nelson Luheyia who recently K.C.S.E received results scoring C plain and looking up for an upkeep and save for College fees, Ogweno pulled out the little penny he had in pockets and gave it to the boy who really appreciated.

 NB: Ogweno remains confident that youth development is dear to president Uhuru’s heart, taking into cognizance their role in nation building.
